For all you geeks out there, you'll be interested to know that the internet cafe here in Aleppo, Syria is running Windows Vista on all the computers. Which is kind of strange since Vista is just in private beta right now. What do you think the odds are that this cafe is on the official beta list... ;) The other interesting thing is that apparently there are only a few government controlled ISP's in Syria which restrict certain sites, yet somehow all the cafes bypass that by proxying through an HTTP proxy for web traffic. Long live the internet... ;)
