Southern Ethiopia

Awasa, Ethiopia

Just a quick note to say that Ieft Addis Ababa this morning and I am now a few hundred kilometers south in a town called Awasa. The plan is to catch another bus heading south to Arba Minch and then hopefully into the famous Omo Valley, though if that doesn't work out (public transport is scarce) then I'll catch a bus to the town of Moyale, on the Kenyan border, and head into Kenya then on to Nairobi, I guess. (I got my Kenyan visa in Addis the other day).

Internet access is deteriorating rapidly here in Ethiopia so updates might be scarce until I can get some better connections (which might not be until Nairobi).

Anyways, that's the plan for the next few days for those following along at home...
