Two Month Anniversary

Amman, Jordan

Today, December 6th, is my second month anniversary of traveling. I've now been over 60 days on the road and for those with outstanding bets back home, here are a few notes to take into account:

- Items lost: 1 Nalgene bottle (back seat of a taxi in Bucharest, Romania) and 1 small bottle of shampoo.
- Have yet to be robbed, mugged or had anything stolen.
- All bags have made each arrival.
- Have gotten sick once.
- Have managed to consistently find things to eat and have not (yet) starved.
- I'm still traveling.

So, anyone with 2 month bets against any of those above points, well you loose, sorry.

The past month was spent mostly in Turkey and Syria, exploring Istanbul, Goreme, Aleppo, Palmyra and Damascus respectively. The plan for the next month is to spend 1-2 weeks in Jordan, then head to Egypt for an indefinite amount of time, probably 2-4 weeks depending on how well I get settled in there.

So yeah, two months on the road and still going strong. Hope everyone is doing well back home and remember that you're all just a plane ride (or two) away from joining me... ;)

All the best from Amman, Jordan
Kenny
