Foreign language lesson of the day:

"´Yes´, should not be your default answer when you don´t understand what someone is asking you in a foreign language¨."

If yes is your default answer, it will result in the following:

1. Your grapes being stuffed under the cash register at the grocery store and you not purchasing them because you forget to put the price sticker on them yourself, but apparently you must have said ´Yes´ when the cashier asked you if you didn´t want them anymore.

2. You picking up a bar tab for the entire table when you order one drink at the bar. Apparently, you must have answered ´Yes´ to something like: "Are you with everyone in the corner? Yes. Are you closing the tab for everyone in the corner? Yes."

So, from now on my default answer will be ´no´when people ask me something or say something to me that I don´t understand.
